These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your registration for and participation in programs offered by The Myrtle Beach Basketball Academy ("we," "us," or "the Academy") and your use of myrtlebeachbasketball.com. By registering for a program or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

Programs and registration

Registration is completed through our website using secure checkout provided by Stripe. Programs are organized by age and grade level, and it is the parent or guardian's responsibility to register each player for the appropriate group. A player's spot is reserved once registration and payment are complete, subject to availability.

Program dates, times, locations, and prices are listed at the time of registration and may change based on availability — including the availability of our facilities, such as the John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate changes to registered families.

Payment

Program fees are shown at registration and are charged in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; by completing a registration you authorize the charge for the selected program. We do not receive or store your full payment card information — see our Privacy Policy for details.

Refunds and cancellations

Because our programs run in monthly sessions, registration fees are generally non-refundable once a program month has begun. If you need to cancel, please contact us at info@myrtlebeachbasketball.com before the start of the program month and we will do our best to help — which may include applying a credit toward a future session where possible.

Required waiver

Every participant must have a signed liability waiver on file before their first session. Waivers are completed through Smartwaiver, and new participants must complete the waiver prior to attending. A player may not participate until a completed waiver has been received. The waiver contains important terms, including an acknowledgment of the risks of physical activity — please read it carefully before signing.

Participation, conduct, and safety

Basketball and athletic activity involve inherent risks of injury. Participants and their parents or guardians are responsible for following the instructions of our coaches and staff and for behaving safely and respectfully. For the safety of everyone, we may ask a participant to sit out or leave a session, and we may remove a participant from a program for conduct that is unsafe or disruptive.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Our website and programs are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or participation in our programs. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you cannot waive under applicable law. The liability waiver completed through Smartwaiver governs the assumption of risk and release of liability for program participation.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the website or participation in our programs means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
