Every kid plays
No benchwarmers here. Small groups and real reps mean every child is moving, learning, and touching the ball all session long.
We're a youth basketball academy built for the Grand Strand — a positive, skills-first place where kids ages 2 to 12 learn the game, gain confidence, and can't wait to come back next week.
The Myrtle Beach Basketball Academy started with a simple idea: every kid deserves a place to fall in love with basketball — no pressure, just great coaching and a whole lot of fun.
Too many young players get pushed toward winning before they've had the chance to learn, play, and simply enjoy the game. We wanted the opposite. So we built an academy around fundamentals, encouragement, and belonging — a court where a first-time two-year-old and a competitive twelve-year-old both feel like they're exactly where they should be.
Today, families across Myrtle Beach, Carolina Forest, Surfside Beach, and beyond trust us to be that place. We're proud to be part of this community, and we take the job of coaching its kids seriously — one dribble, one high-five, and one proud parent at a time.
Explore Our ProgramsThese six ideas shape every session we run — from a toddler's first bounce to a middle school league game.

We celebrate effort before outcome. When kids feel capable and encouraged, the skills — and the smiles — follow naturally.
Our coaches learn names, notice progress, and cheer the loudest. Warm, patient, and genuinely invested in every young player.
Qualified coaches, a clean facility, and a player-focused program. Parents relax knowing their kids are in good hands.
Age-appropriate progressions build real fundamentals — dribbling, passing, shooting, footwork — that kids carry for life.
Whether your player is completely new to the game or a seasoned veteran — we've got something for you.
Good coaching for kids isn't about drills for the sake of drills. It's about meeting each child where they are and helping them take the next step.
